About Us

My Storage Dakota was founded to provide customers with the highest quality and most unique product on the market. Originally built for businesses, My Storage Dakota units decided to enter the retail residential market with high demand coming from homeowners across the Midwest.

BUILDING INTERIOR
We take framing to a new level. Instead of using wood that will eventually rot, we use 14 gauge red iron that will last a lifetime. The only wood we use for the whole building is the premium plywood flooring that sits on top of an iron framed base.

BUILDING EXTERIOR
We build our exterior with a 40 year paint warranty. The paint is engrained into the steel to insure weather resistant results. Wooden sheds will have to be maintenanced over time and they will eventually rot. Our siding, roofing, and trim is all made out of 26 gauge steel. Not only does it look sharp and clean upon delivery, it will look that way 30 years from now.

HOW WE DELIVER
We have multiple ways to deliver your building to get it in the spot you want on your property. We can roll it right off our customized trailer or crane it right into your yard. Pricing varies on the type of delivery that is used and we charge per mile depending on distance from our shop.

LEVELING & GROUND PREP WORK
We do offer leveling and ground prep work for our customers. That is an added expense depending on the size of the job. We have an excavation crew that comes in and takes care of the spot before we arrive with the building.
