Description
This meeting would include representatives from the area building officials including the cities of Bismarck, Mandan along with Burleigh and Morton County.
The focus of this meeting will be on the building plan review and permitting process for residential and commercial development, with potential upcoming changes & address any questions for the 2024 Building Season.
The items that will be discuss would be including but not limited to:
- Discuss Upcoming State and Local Building Code Adoption Process
- Summarize State and Local code adoption process
- Identify key dates for State building code adoption
- Identify ways to get involved and influence the State code adoption process
- Provide Update on Bismarck and Mandan Land Development Code
- Mandan will be touching on their zoning codes and updates for driveway widths
