Description
The BMHBA is pulling together various industries to address the issues, concerns and requirements for constructing homes in the floodplain. This event will not only help clear-up current confusion over requirements, but alert builders to the changes in our local flood maps, which are set to be adopted in August and the fall.

Tom is a Natural Hazard Program Specialist on staff with FEMA Denver (2 years). Prior to that, he was lead person for processing Letters of Map Amendment (LOMA) with Michael Baker Jr for the western half of the U.S. for 7 years.
Joe Kuechenmeister, Michael Baker Jr.* (an Engineering Consulting firm)
Joe is currently the lead person, heading a team processing Letters of Map Revision (LOMR) for Michael Baker Jr in Denver for the western half of the U.S. with 8 years of experience.
*Michael Baker Jr is a primary technical contractor to FEMA for issues related to Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) changes.
