DESCRIPTION:HUD's Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Rule: What Builders Need to Know\n  Thursday\, Dec. 17\, 10-11:30 a.m.    Policy and Finance series    HUD's final AFFH Rule requires states\, local governments and public housing agencies to incorporate fair housing goals into their planning processes for broader community development initiatives or public housing operations as a condition of receiving certain HUD funds. This rule will affect NAHB members' building opportunities because of its impact on land use\, zoning and code decisions. The webinar will provide an overview with particular emphasis on community participation requirements. It will also describe resources that NAHB offers members to help them successfully advocate for workable housing policies.     Presented by Housing Finance and Regulatory Affairs              \n  Cancellations are required 48 hours in advance of each event for a full refund. Participants who do not attend and haven't cancelled 48 hours in advance will still be billed.
