Attendees will learn:\n\n	Seven strengths and skills important for successful campaigns.\n	How to concisely articulate reasons for running\n	How to plan and budget for a race\n	What research is helpful for a campaign and how to get it done\n	The need to leverage social media\n	How to raise money and what rules are in place governing what you can collect and how you can collect it\n	How to ensure you have sufficient time and opportunity to make contact with voters\n	How to get the vote out on election day\n\nSpecial guests and lunch speakers: Representative Jason Dockter\, Bismarck City Commissioner Greg Zenker\, and Mandan City Commissioner Amber Larson.  They'll share their personal stories of running for office and what it's like to serve in an elected position.
